Hello and welcome to my portfolio page. I will use this page to showcase the work I have done and the learning I have achieved during English 1C/2C.

First, I want to list some learning goals that I set for myself and then explain how I met these learning goals:

  • List at least 5 learning goals that you set for yourself during the Summer and explain how you met each goal.

  1. My first goal for my class is to get early always.
  2. My second goal is to due my homework.
  3. My third goal is to respect my classmates.
  4. My fourth goal is to make my whole web page very well.
  5. My fifth goal but not least is to due my presentation in front of the whole without feeling me nervous and to pass this class with an A or B.






Next, I want to explain how one of our reading strategies works. Below I will explain how to Chart a Text. Then, I will give an example of how I charted a non-fiction text.

How to Chart a Text:

steps for chart the text are:
  1. is to underline the most important sentences of the paragraphs.
  2. when you have done with the sentences you got to make a summary for each paragraph of your text.
  3. then make a chart with two halfs and write for each paragraph what the author says and does for each paragraph of the text.......and then you are done charting your text...........

The article says that in Netherlands and elsewhere in Europe
Muslim youths are rebeling against their parents.

Elsewhere are not following their parents rules so they act
against them.
